OCT Films was founded in 2011 by Olivia Chenevix-Trench.
With a passion for sports, travel, the environment and remote cultures Olivia started her career in prime-time observational documentaries. Thriving from the adventure and challenge of documentary film making, projects for National Geographic and the Discovery Channel took her around the world, including months spent filming in the jungle in Ghana, the Amazon rainforest, Alaska, the Atlantic Ocean and post earthquake Haiti.
With a passion for the sea and sailing OCT Films now works across a diverse range of disciplines and specialises in contemporary promotional and editorial films for the yachting and water sports industry. Story telling is the core to any production and our team brings a fresh, dynamic cinematic look to our productions. From working on TV broadcasts for the Americas's Cup, Volvo Ocean Race, the Sailing Olympics and the Rolex Spirit of Yachting series for Sky we have a growing client list in the marine industry. Private marine clients include the J-Class, Musto, Gaastra, North Sails, Spinlock, and the International Etchells Class.
OCT Films creates extremely high quality footage with small crews specialising in stabilising cameras, both on the water and in the air, which greatly increases the production values of any film project.
